We are excited to announce our new three part live series ‘An Evening with Potts’.
Chris Potter (C 65) arrived at Wellington in 1947 and more than 70 years later he remains at the heart of the Wellington Community. Nobody knows Wellington quite like Chris Potter and over three fun and informal chats Chris will talk us through his memories of Wellington. Starting with his own stories and memories of being a student at Wellington and what it was really like, leading on to his teaching years and the changes he witnessed, finishing with more recent years and his continued work with the OW community.
We are delighted that Mark Milliken-Smith (Bd 81) current Governor and Chairman of the OW Executive Committee will be hosting these talks and we hope as many of you as possible will join us. So get comfortable, pour yourself a glass of wine and get ready for three evenings of funny, interesting and eye opening memories.
The first talk will be held on Thursday 25th June, 6:30-7:30pm. In this session Chris will take us on a trip down memory lane discussing his earliest memories of Wellington through to his years studying at University and the very beginning of his teaching career. If you would like to join please email us at community@wellingtoncollege.org.uk and we will send you the link.
The dates for the following sessions will be announced soon.
