Two hundred years ago the Paddington area consisted of a few ancient villages. With the advent of the commuter ‘Shillibeer’ omnibus in 1829, the area was transformed and urbanised. Today another transformation has taken place, with a regeneration project that started 20 years ago. Join me for a walk to explore the old and new Paddington famous for its transport links as well as a certain Bear.
