Shielding – A photobook documenting COVID-19 isolation by Cameron John (T 17)

07 September 2021

Cameron is a a photographer and designer based in North London. Having recently graduated from Central Saint Martins with a First-Class Honours in Graphic Communication Design. Over the last six months  Cameron has been working on an incredible project; a photobook about people who have been Shielding over the national lockdowns. This book aims to raise awareness of our shielding community and the challenges they faced as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Cameron has recently launched a Kickstarter and explains why below

“My volunteers have given so much to me and my project, it would be nothing without their incredible efforts and willingness to document their personal lives throughout the pandemic. This is now my time to give something back to each and every one of them, by raising enough money to gift them all a personalised hardback copy of the book.

This is where I need your help:

By buying a copy of the book you will be directly helping me fund the printing of the copies that I can gift to my volunteers.”
