Ella Dow (O 18) is Vice-President of an all-female philanthropic society at St Andrews called The Lumsden Club and is proud to announce the sixth edition of their annual event, The Lumsden Leadership Summit (previously Winning Women). The aim is to inspire the student body and wider community by bringing together successful women from all fields, enabling the next generation of leaders to create a personal vision and strategy for the future. This year the theme is Defining Our Decade. Each talk will focus on the trends that will define our futures – leading women from different disciplines will explore how their industries will evolve and how the next generations’ experiences will be shaped.
The event will take place online from the 8th-11th March, with subject specific talks each day. Each session is a separate ticket which allows you to experience the summit in a way that aligns with your personal interests. The Summit consists of 4 Events:
March 8th, 6pm – The Lumsden Leadership Summit: A Talk on Law
March 9th, 6pm – The Lumsden Leadership Summit: A Talk on International Relations
March 10th, 6pm – The Lumsden Leadership Summit: A Talk on Sustainable Fashion
March 11th, 6pm – The Lumsden Leadership Summit: Defining Our Decade (A multidisciplinary talk)
Tickets for Day 1,2 and 3 are £3, and tickets for Day 4 are £5. All ticket sales go towards our partner charity, Fife Women’s Aid, who support mothers and children who have been the victims of domestic abuse – this is more important than ever at the moment, after a year of lockdowns and restrictions.
