Gardening Society

Our first Wellington Community Gardening Society gathering was on Thursday 12th October and we had a fantastic turnout of over 40 members from the Community.

Jamie Butterworth, RHS Ambassador and RHS Show Plant Manager, delivered our first talk; Jamie is only 22 but was so knowledgeable and inspirational, he really got everyone enthused about their gardens.

We are very much looking forward to our next lecture already, which is booked in for Thursday 23rd November at 7.30pm in the DLR. This lecture will be given by Jacqueline Easton who is a truly inspirational garden designer who has an extensive portfolio of over 300 stunning projects, so it should prove to be another really interesting evening.
