We are delighted to have OW Hugo Tilmouth hosting one of our LBW sessions this term. This session is aimed at current 6th form students and young OWs who wish to find out more about starting a business and how to be a successful entrepreneur. Hugo will give us an overview of his career so far, discussing how he got to where he is today and sharing some helpful tips and advice. There will be a Q&A at the end of the session, and we do encourage you to ask as many questions as possible.
After graduating from a Masters in Renewable Energy at Exeter University Hugo founded a StartUp called: ChargedUp – which has gone onto scale across the UK and Europe, raise £5m from the top investors of London, including the Innocent smoothie founders, O2 and Jägermeister, and grow to a team of 50 people within just 3 years. Hugo/ChargedUp have been listed in Forbes 30 under 30, Deloitte Fast 100 StartUp and Best place to work 2020. Hugo will be offering an insight into the process of starting a company, coming up with an idea, validating your ideas, raising funding and more. This talk will interactive not passive so please come with questions!
