The tour, which will last 2 hours followed by refreshments for those who wish to stay on, will take in various central London settings which hold the secret to Dickens’ dark and fascinating character. It will be led by Mr Andrew Halls, OBE, Wellington governor and former headmaster of Magdalen College School, Oxford, King’s College School, Wimbledon, and Whitgift School, together with Dr James Cannon, Head of English at King’s College School, Wimbledon, an expert on the history of the streets of central London. Andrew is currently writing a book entitled, “But such flesh, and so much blood!” Charles Dickens, the Empathetic Psychopath.
