Mel is a board advisor, trustee and writer with 25 years’ operational board experience working in commercial creative and nonprofit organisations.
Previously the Group CEO of Sunshine, the London & Los Angeles-based brand & entertainment company, she was also the Managing Director of BBH, the creative agency, where she worked for 19 years. Whilst there, she was also appointed BBH’s first Chief Digital Officer and co-founded BBH Labs, the agency’s R&D arm.
Mel currently acts as board advisor to a portfolio of organisations, is a Trustee of Literacy Pirates, the children’s literacy organisation, and has served as a Trustee of Doteveryone, the responsible technology think tank founded by Martha Lane Fox.
