After completing her International Baccalaureate at Wellington, Francisca went on to complete her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Cambridge in Architecture and is currently undertaking her Master of Science in Architecture at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands whereby the Master programme here is thought to be at the forefront of technological development, contributing to scientific advancement in the interests of society!

Despite being early in her career Francisca has worked for a few different architecture firms and developers including BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, David Chipperfield Architects, British Land and CEG. Francisca is currently working part-time for developer Vastint Hospitality in the Netherlands whilst completing her master’s (Part II of Architecture training).

Francisca explains why she enjoys Architecture and how working with the built environment is a challenging but also rewarding way to address some of the most pressing issues we face today – for example housing shortages, sustainability and conservation.
