Watch Aleena talk about embarking in her career into the architectural field and listen to her touch upon what key skills are needed and the wide breadth of roles available!

At Wellington Aleena was a keen debater, a College Ambassador and a House Prefect who enjoyed Hockey and Netball.

After Wellington, Aleena completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture at the University of Bath and volunteered at THAAP a non-profit organisation aimed towards enhancing and protecting the culture and history of Pakistan through research and practice with on-site projects and support of scholarships as well as an internship at Perviaz Vandal & Asscoiates in Lahore, Pakistan and as an Architectural Assistant at TLA Studio.

During her time at University Aleena studied design and architecture for a year at the National School of Architecture Paris La Villette (ENSAPLV) in Paris as part of the Erasmus programme.

Since university Aleena has worked as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant at Conran & Partners and became a Visualiser and Architectural Assistant early 2020.

Aleena is keen to help any students with an aspiration in architecture as she would have found a similar opportunity invaluable when at Wellington and can be contacted through Welly Connect or by emailing if there are any further questions.
