In Conversation with OW Sarah Charig (Ap 2004) Applied Technology: Project Manager at Norton Rose Fulbright ‘Changing your career’

We recently held a virtual ‘In Conversation’ with OW Sarah Charig who is currently working at Norton Rose Fulbright as a Product Project Manager in the Applied Technology team.

Whilst at Wellington Sarah studied History, Art French and Maths. She played hockey and tennis, and played the cello in the College Orchestra.

After Wellington, Sarah went to read History at Leeds University, specialising in the Cultural History of Venice in her final year. She also spent a year of her degree in Cadiz, Spain studying Spanish History at the University of Cadiz and teaching English as a Second Language at a local language school.

Sarah went on to complete a GDL (Graduate Diploma in Law) and LPC (Legal Practice Course) after university. She then trained and qualified at Norton Rose Fulbright, She practiced as a disputes lawyer at both NRF and Fladgate LLP. After 5 years practicing, Sarah left law and joined a legal startup, Lexoo, in a commercial role, as a Client Solutions Manager. She’s now returned to Norton Rose Fulbright’s Innovation Programme, where she works with Developers and Business Analysts who build new tech products for the firms clients.

Sarah has a wealth of experience and a completely different perspective on the possibilities of working in the law and legal profession.
