“I thrive on connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and ages, and I believe it will be enriching to listen to the stories of fellow Wellingtonians.”

Our OW callers have been asked a few questions about their time at Wellington and why they decided to be involved in celebrating OW giving this coming April.

Qu. 1 What is your favourite memory from Wellington?

“One of my fondest memories from Wellington was unwinding with my friends after a long school day in our House, engaging in light hearted and silly activities like ‘Just Dance’ or belting out karaoke tunes in our dorm rooms. It’s where I forged lifelong friendships that I cherish dearly. “

Qu. 2 Why did you want to be a part of the campaign? What made you want to get involved?

“I was eager to join the campaign because I thrive on connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and ages, and I believe it will be enriching to listen to the stories of fellow Wellingtonians. Additionally, I believe this is an opportunity to enhance my communication and professional skills, skills that I consider indispensable not only for my career but also for life in general. “

Qu. 3 Can you tell us a ‘Fun Fact’ about yourself!

“I swam the English Channel when I was in year 9 as a relay with a group of OW’s friends in order raise money for the charity of our choice (Rowans Hospice and Level Water Swimming), broke the school record and surpassed our initial target.”
