Eszter Gerezdi

Eszter Gerezdi (Hg 23) was one of four former pupils of Cumberland School in Newham East London, who was awarded a Prince Albert Foundation Scholarship in 2021.

Eszter graduated from Wellington College in 2023 and will take up a place at London School of Economics to read Law and Anthropology from September 2023.

Wellington has changed me in the sense that I have a different outlook on life. It’s been truly inspiring. The lives of the PAF scholars who get to come here are changed for the better, your aspirations and direction changes.

It is an experience that cannot be matched. It has made me more confident and allowed me to make some of the greatest friends that I will always cherish.

Being a part of the programme gives all the scholars access to Welly Connect, Wellington College’s global professional network of nearly 6000 OWs, past and present parents and current sixth form students. Eszter shares how Wellington opened up networking opportunities for her and how she secured a work experience placement via this network.

The scholarship programme gave me access to amazing resources to help fulfil my ambitions. I got to expand my contacts and create professional relationships which led to work placements in legal practices.
