Bela de Souza

O 18
“My two years at Wellington were incredibly transformative and I was privileged to have had this opportunity through the Prince Albert Foundation.”

Our OW callers have been asked a few questions about their time at Wellington and why they decided to be involved in celebrating OW giving this coming April.

Bela de Souza (O 18)  is currently working as a professional dancer with Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures and teaches ballet and contemporary dance.

Qu. 1 What is your favourite memory from Wellington?

“Performing in the big top on my last speech day will always be a memory that I cherish. It was a special way to end my time at the school with my family and friends there too”.

Qu. 2 Why did you want to be a part of the campaign? What made you want to get involved?

“My two years at Wellington were incredibly transformative and I was privileged to have had this opportunity through the Prince Albert Foundation. So many students have the potential to flourish in that environment, so I am delighted to be able to help create those opportunities for more young people who wouldn’t otherwise have the chance. I am also looking forward to connecting with other OWs and hearing stories from their time at the school”

Qu. 3 Can you tell us a ‘Fun Fact’ about yourself!

“When I was 9, I modelled for George at Asda!”
