OUR SOCIAL & CULTURAL PROGRAMME

We are making life-long friendships and having a lot of fun along the way…

From theatre and gallery trips, wine tastings, informal drinks, reunions, to overseas trips, and much much more, we are continuing to build up a vibrant events and communications programme for parents and OWs to enjoy, meet new people and make friends.

OW Women’s Network & Sports Society Gathering

The Duke of Sussex, London

We are delighted to be hosting our third annual OW Women’s Network & Sports Society event at the Duke of Sussex on Thursday 28th September 2023. This drinks & networking reception is a gathering for OWs of all ages, with the aim of creating a positive and supportive environment for OW women. Whether it be navigating careers, picking up sports that were dropped, or re-finding friendships, we would love to see as many OW women there as possible to build upon the strong foundations this society has started! Please note, all are welcome at this event.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

Waterloo Hall, Wellington College

Join us for our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning, held in Waterloo hall, for a range of homemade baked goods, stalls, raffles and cake competitions! We are so grateful to everyone who has supported our previous ‘Coffee Mornings’; the money we have raised over the years has made an incredible difference, and we can’t thank you enough for helping us support those living with cancer. Last year, we raised £1,376.90 and we hope to beat that total this year! Students, current parents, and College & teaching staff are all very welcome to come along on the day; please email community@wellingtoncollege.org.uk for further details.

The Old Wellingtonian Lodge No.3404

The Old Wellingtonian Lodge No.3404 is a Masonic Lodge for Old Wellingtonians, Governors, Masters and Officers of Wellington College, present and past, whether already a Freemason or those interested in becoming one. It is part of the Public School Lodges’ Council; a forum for the private lodges of many of our great public schools.

We welcome enquiries from anyone interested in finding out more about Freemasonry. Also, those who are already Freemasons are warmly welcomed to join us; especially those from PSLC Lodges or Old Wellingtonians from other Lodges – just ask!

Members of the Lodge meet in London three times each year: in February, October and November. For our May meeting we return to Wellington College to celebrate our Freemasonry and gives us the opportunity to support College charities and initiatives.
